KENNETH SHINOZUKA 15 years old makes Alzheimers Patient Tracker

KENNETH SHINOZUKA has a grandfather with Alzheimer’s. His grandfather would wander off and anyone having a relative with Alzheimer’s knows how stressful and crippling it can be for the whole family.

He made a sensor that is embedded into socks that if they get out of bed it sends an alarm to your smart phone.

Just like our Star Trek Starship Troopers philosophy he is paving the way to ending the crippling effect to families and caretakers dealing with the issue of wandering.

What things have you seen that helps with this? Smartphone app? Post here if you have something to share.
