Katrina 10 years later

i have no reason to feel like I do. I knew no one that lived in New Orleans. There are entry of places in the world that have had hardship. I know

As the anniversary of Katrina and the terrible terrible things that happened with no one rushing to help, no one truly caring and the terrible things that the rest of America let happen still is sharp in my mind.

What gets me is that cnn and others are quiet as the day comes. I’m sure they give it some time on that day but all the stories that are still untold will be buried.

This week should have been full of specials touting the heroes and exposing the things that would make you sick if you knew.

History tells those that pay attention this isn’t knew but this will be the last time in years that the people of the areas affected get paid respect.

It’s a shame
